Vattenfall installs 295 MW onshore wind farm in the Netherlands

The Swedish utility is investing EUR 200 million in the expansion and reconstruction of Dutch turbines, many of which were previously used on Vestas projects.

German wind prices rise by one fifth

After dramatic price declines and major criticism of German onshore wind auctions, the average price saw a significant boost in the first auction since the provisional tightening of the rules for citizen projects. Solar power is thus cheaper than wind.
