US offshore wind farm veering on bankruptcy

Finances seem to have derailed for a potential US offshore wind farm, which could cost Siemens a small, but important order.

Atlantic City, which is known for its casinos, has been through an economic downturn over the past few years. Competition from online gambling and new gaming licenses in other cities have shut down one casino after aniother.

However it is not only the casinos to have been hit by the downturn – another investment in the city is now on the brink. According to industry media Recharge, the US offshore wind project Fishermen's Energy is close to collapse and has lost a large slice of its public support.
