Poland receives first LNG shipment from major deal

Poland takes delivery of the first shipment of LNG from a major deal between Pgnig and Cheniere. The country now imports more LNG from the US than from Russia.

In November, Polish state-controlled oil and gas company Pgnig entered an agreement with US LNG supplier Cheniere that the latter would deliver LNG at a volume corresponding to 39 billion meters3 over the next 24 years.
