EU to unleash gas comeback in 2020

An impending reform of the entire European gas market could be on the way with the aim to give gas a far larger role in the energy mix. Danish gas market players believe that this could be to Denmark's advantage as the country is a leader in new technologies within the field.

EU member states warming up to higher targets

At an informal energy council meeting in Sofia yesterday, several of EU member countries expressed that they were willing to budge on targets for renewables consumption and energy efficiency in 2030 and increase ambitions.
