Tesla opens first solar-powered charging station in China

The US-based firm has made its Chinese debut with a charging station that uses solar power.

On Wednesday, Tesla opened its first electric car charging station in China that can generate and store solar power energy.

Reuters reports that the charging station is located in Lhasa.
