Ørsted's power plants slammed by "unfavorable market conditions"
Despite far greater production and revenue in Ørsted's power plant division, the unit only barely improved the operating result. The thorn in the side of Ørsted is ironically the electricity market, where the wind division is drastically expanding these years.
The domestic industry applauds a broad political agreement to allot slightly more than EUR 110m to Denmark's participation in the EU's green hydrogen efforts. The final selection of projects is expected within the coming weeks.
Danish parliament's IPCEI agreement doesn't touch Dutch funds previously earmarked by the government for Power-to-X, says energy minister Dan Jørgensen. On the other hand, the allocated DKK 850m will not necessarily go to the common European projects.
