The plan was for the Ørsted third quarter interim report to be released Thursday, but the company, which until a few days ago went by the name Dong Energy, has just published it ahead of time.
Ørsted informs that 50 percent of the not-yet-complete offshore wind farm Walney Extension in the UK has been divested to Danish pension funds PKA and PFA for approximately GBP 2 billion. In the wake of this news, Ørsted has also upgraded its guidance for 2017 and released its financial report for the first nine months of the year.
