Vattenfall will lose one of its most experienced executives. After almost two decades at the Swedish utility, and the past few years as CFO, Stefan Dohler is moving 125 kilometers west from his office in Hamburg to the city of Oldenburg, where he will take over the role of CEO for German utility EWE, both companies have announced.
"It is with mixed feelings that I have decided to leave Vattenfall after almost 20 years. Vattenfall has formed my professional life and offered me tremendous opportunities to develop. I have foremost enjoyed working with so many fantastic colleagues," says Stefan Dohler of his departure from the Swedish utility.
