US firm to construct several large-scale wind projects

Xcel Energy has been granted approval from authorities to install seven wind farms in the US, set to boast capacity of 1.55 GW.

US energy company Xcel Energy has been given the green light by authorities in Minnesota to construct seven new wind farms, reports Renews.

The farms will have total capacity of 1.55 GW and be located in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
