Dong expands management with German number cruncher

60-year-old Dieter Wemmer has been nominated as the new member of the energy group's board, growing from six to eight members.

Denmark's largest energy company Dong Energy will soon get a new member of its board which is currently six-man strong.

The company announced that it has nominated Dieter Wemmer, 60, to enter the group. Today, Wemmer works as a CFO for the German insurance and asset management group Allianz, while he has previously had a similar post at financial group USB from Switzerland.
