Poulsen after oil sale: We have made the best of a bad situation

Dong's CEO does not believe that the energy company could have handled the oil division's problems differently.

Although Dong's oil and gas division has been struck by one DKK billion loss after another, CEO Henrik Poulsen does not believe that he could have done much differently.

In 2012, Poulsen was pulled from Danish firm TDC to fix Dong's finances and has succeeded via a series of divestments and a controversial capital expansion led by Goldman Sachs.
