Dong's sale of its oil and gas division could be a game changer in the Danish part of the North Sea. After years of declining activity, this area may be looking forward to a necessary boost in strength.

This is according to several sources after Swiss Ineos grabbed the division from under the nose of Maersk Oil and other potential buyers.
