Vattenfall to expand Scottish wind farm

A Scottish wind farm ought to be expanded with 16 new turbines, states Vattenfall, which has started the planning process. It would help Scotland reach its target for half of its energy consumption to come from renewable energy in 2030.

Swedish energy company Vattenfall plans to extend Scottish wind farm Clashindarroch with 16 turbines.

The farm, which currently boasts 18 turbines, was inaugurated a year-and-a-half ago but even more turbines could be headed its way.
