Vattenfall CEO: Offshore wind's biggest price decline is nearly over

Two years ago, Sweden's Vattenfall ushered in a new era for offshore wind with a record-low bid on Horns Rev 3. Since then, a number of offshore tenders have led to even lower prices. But the celebrations will not last forever, says the head of the Swedish energy giant.

Vattenfall's Stockholm headquarters boast neither a view of the sea, nor any offshore turbines. Instead, the company is located in a new building near a shopping centre and a few hundred metres from Sweden's national Stadium, Friends Arena.
