BMW has signed a deal to deliver up to 1000 batteries to Vattenfall, which will be used for electricity storage for wind farms.
BMW's 33 KWH batteries are normally used for the company's electric car i3. But by putting together several of the units, Vatterfall can use them as storage for renewable energy.
