Media: Company bought turbines from Vestas and got its money back

Although Global Wind Power did not need new wind turbines, the company decided to buy more from Vestas, which has since paid back the money.

Global Wind Power purchased 50-100 wind turbines from Vestas that the company did not really need. Headed by former Vestas executive Johannes Poulsen as chairman, Global Wind Power since received EUR 3 million from Vestas, according to Danish daily Børsen.

This information is revealed in the book Vestas – Verdensmester for enhver pris, (Vestas – World champion at any cost) which is set for release today.
