"Biomass is still in the making"

Danish company Verdo believes that the biomass market will develop much more. The company is currently keeping a close eye on whether or not suppliers meet sustainability requirements, but has also stated that taking the next step and owning forests is under consideration.

Boilers are heating up in Europe as more and more power plants are converting to biomass. Danish player Verdo is impacted by the development which, according to the CEO, has only just begun.

He explains that biomass has gone from being a new trend to being part of the energy mix of the future. However, even though the development in biomass and the support from energy companies for converting power plants has been great, the development can go even further.
