European Energy starts the year with record-breaking orderbook

The record pipeline, boosted by factors including a shift in strategy, is just waiting to be realized at European Energy where the CEO believes that the company will make big divestments from the portfolio in 2017.

2016 was an excellent year for European Energy, and even though the bottom line quadrupled, the company has not reaped all the benefits yet. A pipeline of projects is waiting to materialize and it is bigger than ever before, says the CEO.

European Energy, which develops wind and solar power projects, succeeded in boosting earnings from EUR 3.4 million to EUR 15.6 million. Meanwhile, the portfolio of projects, which are either under construction or ready to enter the construction phase, is at an all-time high, says CEO of European Energy, Knud-Erik Andersen. The increasing number of projects and the fact that they have grown in size is precisely the explanation for the great bottom line.
