Sun will be combined with wind, coal, and gas in the Netherlands and contribute to making Vattenfall one of the biggest producers of renewable energy in the country.
All in all, Vattenfall is planning to install 250,000 solar panels across six facilities in the Netherlands. Three of the solar panel facilities will be constructed at Vattenfall's gas power plants in the Netherlands. Furthermore the company will install solar panels at wind turbine farms and at one coal power plant. The final investment decisions for the facilities will be made during this year and next year.
