JP Morgan buys British wind portfolio

Major US bank JP Morgan has acquired a 409 MW onshore wind portfolio in the UK.

JP Morgan has purchased a 409 MW onshore wind portfolio in the UK from Infinis Group, which is owned by equity fund Terra Firma, reports Recharge.

The transaction is expected finalized in the second quarter and covers 343 MW, which are already operational, while the remaining 66 MW will expectedly be connected soon. In total, the portfolio covers 19 different farms.
