A price war has been sparked on the German offshore wind market, as German politicians are hoping to spend fewer tax dollars on offshore wind investments after record-low prices in Denmark. This will put Dong Energy's competitiveness to the test in the next German tender in 2017, writes Danish business daily Børsen.
Germany is already Dong's second-largest market after the UK and the company is hoping for massive growth on the German offshore wind market in 2017.
