Kvaerner wins huge contract on Johan Sverdrup

Norwegian supplier Kvaerner ASA has won a major contract together with Aker Solutions on the large Norwegian oil field Johan Sverdrup. The field's first oil is expected in 2019.

Norwegian companies Kvaerner ASA and Aker Solutions have won a major contract on the Norwegian oil field Johan Sverdrup, informs Kvaerner in a press release. The field will be ready for production in 2019, according to plan.

Statoil is the field's operator and, as such, Kvaerner and Aker Solutions will work closely alongside Statoil.
