Vattenfall's crazy bid gives rise to both awe and concern

Swedish utility Vattenfall scored a big triumph with its winning bid for the Danish Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm. The question now is whether or not the company can actually make money on the farm, states one analyst.

Wednesday morning, a piece of news emerged from the energy industry that is actually quite remarkable but was completely overshadowed by Donald Trump, who has just been elected as the next president of the United States.

It was announced today that Sweden's Vattenfall won the tender for the 600 MW Danish Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm with a surprisingly low bid.
