Spanish power company Iberdrola has halted investments in domestic projects following Madrid implementing several consumer protection measures against high prices, the utility tells The Wall Street Journal, according to Dow Jones.
"Iberdrola has decided to halt ongoing bidding processes for goods and services associated with the construction of new renewable projects in Spain until a detailed assessment of the economic viability of such projects has been carried out," the company writes in a statement.
