Iberdrola acquires Sowitec Vietnam and 550MW orderbook

With this acquisition, the utility adds more solar and wind energy to its portfolio.

Spanish utility Iberdrola has acquired Sowitec's Vietnam subsidiary and an accompanying orderbook of 550MW in wind energy, reports Bloomberg News.

Iberdrola thereby takes over five onshore wind farms and a single solar farm, the company informs.
