Ørsted appoints new executive

British Bombardier profile is recruited for the newly created position of COO. A world-class executive, according to CEO Mads Nipper.

CEO Mads Nipper of utility Ørsted now has a full team on his hands. The company has just hired British national Richard Hunter for a newly created position as chief operating officer, which he will take up on June 1.

The new COO will thereby become part of the group's management of six people, which also includes Chief Financial Officer Marianne Wiinholt, Chief Commercial Officer and Deputy CEO Martin Neubert, Executive Vice President and CEO of Onshore Declan Flanagan as well as Chief Human Resources Officer Henriette Fenger Ellekrog.
