Statkraft's big global ambitions gain momentum with renewables sales

Divesting wind assets for large sums and now gaining business force with the integration of Solar Century whets the Norwegian utility's appetite for the coming years.

The grass is always greener on the other side – or at least things have grown far more lush since New Year's for Norwegian power company Statkraft, which has now seriously rebounded after a horrible 2020.

Several high points have characterized the group's first quarter, including divestments, entering new markets, adopting new technologies and forming new partnerships.
