Ørsted enters PPA with US retail giant

The power will be generated by project Haystack Wind in Nebraska, which is currently under establishment and expected to come online later this year.

Ørsted has signed a power purchase agreement with US retail chain Target and foods company Hormel Foods, the utility announces on Thursday.

Both PPAs are long-term deals on electricity generated by Ørsted's 298-MW onshore wind farm Haystack wind located in Nebraska, says the company.
