
One of the European energy sector's most prominent profiles is set to step down as of April 1, 2021.
Johannes Teyssen, who has been a part of the company since 1989 and on the executive team since 2004, is resigning as Eon's chief executive and will be replaced by the group's chief operating officer of many years, Leonard Birnbaum, in the spring, Eon informs in a statement occasioned by its big merger with Innogy.
