
Finnish energy major Fortum presented a new strategy Thursday in which the company announces plans to develop up to 2 GW in onshore wind and solar power before 2025.
Climate neutrality is at the center of the new plan, and Fortum together with Uniper, which after several years of fighting now belongs to the Finnish company, aim for carbon neutrality in Europe by 2035, while the target for its other operations is 2050.
