Statkraft to focus on South America and liquid hydrogen

Giant project in Brazil and increased focus on green alternatives to fossil fuels hold great promise for the future, says Statkraft.

Statkraft takes a positive view of the future following a couple of quarterly fiscal reports with shifting bottom lines. External forces have at times been rough on the Norwegian state-owned utility. But Chief Executive Christian Rynning-Tønnesen is optimistic, saying there are good opportunities and projects ahead.

"We are the largest producer of renewable energy in Europe today. And we see a huge investment potential in renewable energy in the future, which is extremely exciting. We aim to be one of the leading companies within renewable energy globally," says Rynning-Tønnesen.
