Andel, IBM enter partnership targeting large energy consumers

The Andel group, formerly Seas-NVE, and IBM form a new partnership offering to adjust large energy customers' power consumption in accordance with fluctuating renewable energy sources.

Danish Energy and fiber-optic network group Andel, formerly Seas-NVE, has formed a new partnership with IBM meant to give major energy customers access to continuous adjustments to their electricity consumption, so the energy system can handle fluctuating power generation, as stated in a press release on Tuesday.

Andel and IBM have partnered with select players and are launching what they themselves call the hitherto most ambitious take on how to optimize the energy system and reduce total carbon-dioxide emissions.
