Data center will help Sweden balance grid load

Internet service provider Bahnhof has made its data center in central Stockholm available as a virtual power plant to help stabilize the power grid within and surrounding the Swedish capital.

A certain breed of critics love to mention societal challenges posed by expanding intermittent renewable capacity, citing that wind sometimes fails to blow and the sun doesn't always shine.
