With 114 10 MW turbines from MHI Vestas and a capacity of 1,075 MW, Seagreen will make a mark on the landscape once it is finished in two to three years.
And now, the developer has also found a purchaser for half of the electricity expected to be generated at the farm. Norway's Statkraft just signed a power purchase agreement, PPA, for half the electricity from the Total-owned wind farm, of which SSE Renewables also owns 49 percent.
