Norlys and Eurowind Energy behind new center for commercial energy trading

Norlys a.m.b.a. and Eurowind Energy A/S have banded together to establish a new company, Norlys Energy Trading A/S. The ambition is to create a European powerhouse within renewables and commercial energy trade, the parties state in a press release.

The new company, to be headquartered in Aalborg, Northern Denmark, will be tasked with handling energy trade and risk management for the commercial energy business of Norlys and for Eurowind Energy's trading function. Their joint ambition is to achieve considerable market synergies between the production and consumption links in the green value chain, they say.
