Swiss Aventron sells Spanish power to Statkraft

Norwegian utility Statkraft has entered a five-year PPA with Swiss power company Aventron. The PPA entails Statkraft buying 330 GWh from Spanish solar farm Bargas, starting next year.

Norwegian state-owned utility Statkraft adds a new purchase contract to the pile just after presenting its best operating result to date.

From July 2020, Statkraft will purchase power from Spanish solar farm Bargas, situated in Toledo, about 80 kilometers south of Madrid. The company has signed a five-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Swiss power company Aventron, informs Statkraft in an official statement.
