Danske Commodities enters PPA on offshore wind farm

The Danish energy trader signs a 15-year power purchase agreement with UK offshore wind farm Sheringham Shoal.

Starting today, Danish energy trader Danske Commodities will handle balancing and trade of 126 MW from UK offshore wind farm Sheringham Shoal for the next 15 years.

This is the result of a new power purchase agreement (PPA) entered by the energy trader with the wind farm's owners, Equinor (40 percent), Equitix (40 percent) and Green Investment Group (20 percent).
