Power grid collapse in South America affected at least 48 million

Public transportation stopped and hospitals had to use emergency generators when Argentina blacked out. 10 million still had no power Sunday night.

A massive power outage in South America left about 50 million people without electricity on Sunday.

More than 10 million still have no power in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay, writes news agency AP.
