Vattenfall accused of breaking the law

Several whistleblowers accuse Vattenfall of breaking the law in connection with a tender, in which Siemens was allegedly favored. The Swedish utility rejects the accusations.

Thousands of leaked documents and emails, which supposedly show how Vattenfall tried to get rid of employees who protested what they believe are serious violations of both European competition rules and Vattenfall's own ethical guidelines.The documents have been reviewed by newspapers Dagens Nyheter, Der Spiegel and NRC Handelsblad, writes Vaaju.com, among others.

Besides reviewing the documents, the media have furthermore spoken to seven whistleblowers who all report of fraud in connection with a tender.
