For the third time in two years, Norwegian system operator Statnett has uncovered systematic labor violations perpetrated by one of its subsuppliers. In this instance, one of Swiss-Swedish industrial conglomerate ABB's suppliers coerced its employees with threats of sanctions to repay large portions of their wages paid for work on a project in Norway.
The Norwegian system operator does not name the company in question but does inform that the outfit is not based in a Nordic country.
