Energy cable manufacturer NKT has confirmed its hitherto largest order on export cables. The Danish group has entered a deal with transmission grid Ostwind 2 valued at approximately EUR 300 million, announces NKT in a press release.
The lucrative contract concerns high voltage cables for Ostwind 2 transmission grid in Germany. According to the group a 270km 220 kV AC XLPE export cable system and an 8km 220 kV AC XLPE onshore cable system will be delivered.
