Shell dives into UK energy trading after takeover

International oil and gas group Shell will begin supplying energy to UK households.

Shell, one of the world's largest companies, has delved into UK energy trading and will no doubt leave British utilities concerned about competition.

The Guardian reports that with the takeover of First Utility, the major oil and gas group will begin selling oil and gas directly to the British market.
