Ørsted hires rescue vessel for British offshore wind project

Carrier Esvagt will supply a 'man overboard vessel' to assist during the installation of the Hornsea 1 offshore wind farm.

Esvagt secures another order in the offshore wind industry, reports the carrier.

The service carrier has been hired by Ørsted – previously Dong Energy – to make the vessel Esvagt Castor available during the installation of the Danish utility's offshore wind farm Hornsea 1. Until the project is completed in 2020, the chartered vessel will be on standby and ready to rescue any person who might fall overboard during the work.
