Nordex opens Australian office

German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex is opening a Melbourne office in efforts to secure a bigger presence in Australia and Oceania.

A handful of Nordex employees will soon be settling in for a long-haul flight when they travel to Australia to open a new office for the German wind turbine manufacturer.

Nordex has announced that it will open a Melbourne office in order to push growth in Australia and Oceania. The office is intended to accelerate the growth in renewables taking off in Australia, particularly the state of Victoria, of which Melbourne is capital.  The state government has announced a goal to increase the share of renewables from 25 percent to 40 percent in 2025, points out Nordex.
