Dong awards US subcontract to Norwegian firm

One of the first supplier contracts for work on Dong's potential new US offshore wind farm has been awarded to a Norwegian firm.

Norwegian consultancy firm Aqualis Offshore will assist with the first geological survey of what could be Dong's (soon known as Ørsted), first US offshore wind farm, Ocean Wind.

The contract involves monitoring and support of geotechnical investigations of the Ocean Wind site, located in New Jersey. The contract also includes the option to carry out similar surveys of the Bay Wind offshore wind farm, which is owned by Dong Energy and Eversource.
