Vestas will deliver turbines and service to the hitherto largest hybrid plant made up of wind, solar, and battery storage.
The wind turbine manufacturer announced that it has entered a partnership with Australian company Windlab for the Kennedy Energy Park phase 1 project which will consist of 43.2 MW of wind, 15 MW of solar and 2 MW/4 MWh of lithium-ion battery storage and cost USD 160 million.
