Danish solar developer aims to conquer the Netherlands

Danish solar power developer Better Energy is teaming up with a Dutch partner to open an office in the Netherlands. The ambition is to turn the Netherlands into another domestic market for the firm.

Less than one year after Better Energy won Denmark's first transnational solar power tender with a historically low purchasing price of DKK 12.89 cents per kWh (EUR 1.7 cents per kWh), the company is now looking to make a breakthrough in the Netherlands.

For this reason, Better Energy is now establishing an office in the Netherlands which will cover activities in the rooftop market, utility-scale ground-mounted projects, as well as floating solar and carport solutions.
