A wind turbine went up in flames and has now been inspected by experts after a fire at a Dutch wind farm Tuesday, report several local media.
It remains unclear how the fire arose, but local business owners say they heard an explosion before the flames erupted around noon local time. The two service technicians were near the wind farm in the town of Zeewolde when the fire started. According to service company Brettink, which employs the two technicians, they were not harmed, though several media report that they have suffered minor injuries.
