Vestas CEO leaves NKT board

Anders Runevad is stepping down from the cable manufacturer's board at the extraordinary general meeting. A former Siemens executive has been proposed as his replacement.

After just one year, Vestas CEO Anders Runevad is stepping down from the NKT board, reveals the cable manufacturer Monday morning in a press release concerning the company's decision to split the company into two stand-alone businesses, Nilfisk and NKT.

"Anders Runevad has decided to step down from his position, and the Board of Directors proposes Andreas Nauen to be elected at the Extraordinary General Meeting on 12 October 2017," writes NKT.
