Siemens Gamesa has secured its largest Chinese order since the merger. According to a press release, the wind turbine manufacturer will deliver 150 of its G114-2.0 MW turbines to the Xilinhot project in Inner Mongolia. The manufacturer has also signed a long-term service agreement besides the 300 MW order.
"With this significant order, the company has achieved a new milestone in its strategy in China where it has already installed over 4.6 GW," says Álvaro Bilbao, CEO of Siemens Gamesa in Asia Pacific.
